Thank you for your interest in my work. Painting is my passion and it always has been. I am a painter and a freelance graphic designer. I currently live and work in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas, Texas with my two kids, myhusband and our dog. I have been painting ever since I took my first high school painting class. My art teacher would take our class to DC and to New York to see big exhibits. At 17 about to graduate I was not ready to live to go to Pratt and live in Brooklyn instead I attended McGill University in Montreal where I got my undergraduate degree in liberal arts. I then studied painting in Provence, France at the Cleveland Institute of Art. I worked at the Phillips Gallery in Wash. D.C., where I was greatly inspired by the works of Deibenkorn. Next stop New York City! It is there that I trained with great teachers. I was inspired by all the fantastic artists surrounding me. I earned MFA in painting at Parsons School of Art & Design. Since then I have held various jobs: I have been an art director for a YMCA camp in MA, an art teacher in CA and a 3-D animation demo artist for Autodesk in MA.
When work opportunities brought my family to Dallas, I got my Masters in Design at Texas A & M. I then worked in many advertising agencies. Currently I teach at the Creative Arts Center, at Dallas International School and I teach private art lessons. I show my work at the many great festivals in Dallas and in galleries in Dallas, DC and MA. I am excited to share my work with you!
